Cookies and Consent Management
In addition to the aforementioned data, cookies and comparable storage technologies (e.g. local storage) are stored on your computer, mobile phone, or tablet when using our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive in association with the browser you are using and through which certain information flows to the entity that sets the cookie. Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall.
Consent banner: When you visit this website for the first time, a consent banner is displayed. There you can choose between the categories Necessary (always active) and External content (Vimeo videos, ProvenExpert review widget). Your choice is stored locally in your browser (local storage, key bb_consent_v1) and is technically required so the banner can respect your choice on subsequent visits (legal basis Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and § 25 para. 2 no. 2 TTDSG). You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the Privacy settings link in the footer of this website.
External content (Vimeo, ProvenExpert) is only loaded after your active consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. Without consent, a placeholder is displayed instead of the external content; no data is transferred to the respective providers.
Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. These include session cookies in particular. These store a so-called session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the common session. This allows your computer to be recognised when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser's security settings.
You can configure your browser settings according to your preferences and, for example, refuse to accept third-party cookies or all cookies. Please note that you may not be able to use all functions of this website.

This information will be transmitted to a Vimeo server in the USA and stored there, regardless of whether you have a Vimeo account that you are logged into or no Vimeo account.
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the Privacy settings link.
